This workbook is our gift to the world—to the younger versions of ourselves, who would have loved to have such advice and tools at their fingertips. Whether you’re planning your first novel or your seventh, we hope this workbook helps you hone your skills and grow as a storyteller.

Just two published authors looking to uplift young and ambitious writers.

Brittany Padgett is a young adult and children’s author in the Pacific Northwest. Before pursuing her passion for writing and storytelling, she worked for ten years as a student affairs professional in higher education. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Central Washington University. She was editor-in-chief at Manastash Literary Journal and business manager for Poetry Northwest. Brittany is best known for her middle-grade book series The Reeds of West Hills.

Brittany Tucker lives on an island off the coast of Washington state with her husband, daughter, a menagerie of furry and scaled children, and her imagination. She prefers generic cereal, collects tattoos and action figures, and was in the top 5% on the planet for ships sunk in Assassin’s Creed III. She is a published author of over four fantasy novels (and counting.)
